How would you feel if your father and Boone's adoptive mother got together?
ALFIE: Oh, I have nothing against her. Who knows, she might be good for him. (He lets out a slight sigh) Honestly, I think she's too good for him. Of course, that's probably just me. I mean, I know him as that son he never had time for, anyway..so I'm sure I don't know him well. And well, I'm not very forgiving. But (he bites a grin) it's kind of a nice thought. Even so, they might be better just on their own.
BOONE: (he winces a grin as if he is not sure what to say) It might be the only way I get to know him better. Um, she's one of those kind of people who gets to the bottom of it. She can be emotional..or is it..she can bring out the emotions..well, at least in me. I dunno about my biological dad (he shakes his head). Sure I want everyone to get along. And yeah, that would be kind of sweet. (He grins) I just don't think it'll happen. (he shrugs) But if anyone can get to know him..it will be my mom.
