Possibly more fiction than a biopic. After all, it has been found pure biopics can be boring in the movie industry. However, it's Frances O'Connor's debut as a director. In this interpretation, Bronte is more of a rebel and a misfit. The backdrop is beautiful and the costuming is lovely. It might inspire you to read one of her books!

Side note: A great uncle of mine loved the Bronte sisters so much that he ended up naming his own daughter Bronte.

    Intriguing! I agree that biopics can sometimes be boring. But I think Emily Bronte can bring it. Also, I love that your great uncle named his daughter Bronte! 💙🖤
