Marry Me!

 

I had been wanting to watch this Japanese drama for some time now. It's from 2020 with Seto Toshiki who really is a unique actor. And really the story is out there with the NEET program. I am not sure if it's real or not, but the characters do have real problems. The female lead has cared for her grandparents since she was a middle schooler. She never finished high school and was extremely shy. While he doesn't really believe in love since his own family is a rather unhappy couple, but he is devoted to his job and when they ask him to participate in the 'arranged marriage' program to help someone in need he goes for it, but of course she turns him away when he shows up. Thankfully, the cat gets them on the right start. And it's a story of two people who are considerate of each other. Of course, his ex who initially broke up with him over two years ago can't stand the idea of them together. At every turn, there is something new to consider as they venture into marriage.
