Numbers

Ho Woo soon uncovers a web of systemic corruption and injustice that can only be stopped by dismantling one of Korea's most prestigious accounting firms.

No, it's not a remake of that old CBS show. But it's got two of my favorite Korean actors! Kim Myung Soo (or we could call him L) and Choi Jin Hyuk. This K-drama is about accountants taking down dirty numbers! As usual, Korea has a way of putting on 'status' in the business world. Woo is just an accountant with a high school education (and no one wants him at this mega firm). He is also an orphan and the back story is gripping as to why he wants to be in this firm. He knows the firm has some bad accountants. Also, the son of the president of this place knows his dad is up to no good. Throw in a pretty co-worker for a wee bit of romance and you gotta K-drama. I was actually hoping for a bromance, but if it happens it might not happen until the last part of the drama. It is a 12-episode drama so yeah, you got time for this one. It's a well-seasoned cast and they both know how to bring it. The first episode L showed just how tough he can be in a couple of fight scenes. It's hard to believe he's 31 when he doesn't look a day over 16. And Hyuk just gets better and better.

The last drama I watched L in he was a cat - Meow, the Secret Boy. He really knows how to pick some interesting dramas. And Hyuk played a Zombie in Zombie Detective.
