So when did you know when the moment was right?

ELI: (he makes a squeamish squint and then he has a goofy grin as he plays around on the couch scooting near Amy, but she gives him a back-off look as if this is not the time or the place) What are we talking about?

AMY: (Her arms are crossed. She is even lip, but she lets a smile slip and she giggles and he giggles too) He's such a pest. (She shakes her head and gets serious with a sigh) I was feeling down.

ELI: You were feeling down? (He gives her a serious look) I didn't even know? What happened? (He looks to the camera and shrugs since she isn't saying anything.) I mean, the kiss happened out of no where. It's not like I was planning on it, but I just went for it. (He smiles with delight) And it just...

AMY: Multiplied. (she tries to hold in a laugh as she presses her lips tight) I wasn't really thinking it would happen either.

ELI: It needed to happen (he nods) I mean, I know I'm not very nice. I don't mean to be. It's just, you know, thinking, oh she doesn't want me to get too close.

AMY: To close? (Amy practically snarls as if this might end up in a spat.)

ELI: Well, (He's a little bug-eyed at the camera) I didn't know what to do. I don't have the best role models, OK. They're busy. (He looks away as he speaks of  his parents.)

AMY: Mine are very busy. (Amy nods and she looks away) But..but now that we know..it can happen. I just want us to, you know, make it last.

ELI: (nods in agreement) I mean we..we can't just make out all the time, even..even if I want to.

AMY: We have to set boundaries. We aren't wildlings. (she shrugs)

ELI: Well, I wouldn't mind being one, every once in a while. (Now he hugs himself as he crosses his legs in his old sweatpants shorts)

AMY: (Looks him in the eye as if she might punch him in the arm) You would.

ELI: See, she is mean (He points at her and she grabs his finger and they are kind of in a play fight and end up hugging each other).

AMY: The plan is. We will just text, but well..

ELI: We're going to steady. (Eli nods as he puts his arm around her and she bursts into laughter).

AMY: Do people actually say things like that? (She squints with a ducky lip as she turns to him).

ELI: Who cares? (He winces back) I always wanted to go steady with somebody. Not just anybody. Only with you.
