End Notes

It's been such an Artic Blast weekend. I  haven't wanted to do a thing. OK, so yeah, I made myself a couple of margaritas one before I started the car and then one later after the laundry. Oh..gosh..I feel I am growing so old. And I'm not gonna lie....I really was disappointed in Astroid City. I would have liked it better if Wes didn't put in all the black-and-white stuff. Still, the characters were just not as genuine as in some of his past films. Cutos on the filming and some of the soundtrack was good..but still, there was a lot that lost me in this film. Let's hope he learned from it.

Oh, and really Sandburn wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Still, some very strange situations had me shaking my head. But Barry Keoghan is one to watch for.

Finally got to the end of Chasing the Truth. Oh my, it was a ride til the very end. And when he said to Nana, "It's been twenty-seven days and half since I've seen you," I thought..oh yeah, it's my kind of drama! Truly the badest who was only a gamer ends up killing someone with his own hands. The actor in that part did it with just a worrisome amount of trouble. And his character didn't die. Yet, he was wounded in the end.

I feel like I need a Monday off to get through the week, but I know that's not happening.

It's been a lot to get used to this situation of someone coming home from the hospital. I am trying to be a better cook. Some days are better than others. Honestly, I will admit this is making me feel so old in ways I never thought possible. But I must go on. Hopefully, the days ahead will get better. I am trying.

I did revisit Diaryland. Yes, it still exist, but I don't think my diaries did. It is still good to see a few are still writing what was there before. Yes, it gets a little personal yet many are there to help you through whatever might be going on. Still, some are quite vague as to what is really happening in their romances. Still, you get their point of view and well many need to read it so they can find their feelings too. Truly, it is the indie of most places to write on the Internet. Yet, we have a week or so to go to get through January.

  1. I hope things are better this week! I'm glad you were able to write a little. We were actually able to get out and visit my mom, she's close but the weather has been so bad we hadn't seen her in a week.

I'll have to check out Diaryland.

    1. I find it impossible to get an account at Diaryland now. Even if you paid for it, it doesn't exactly seem possible. And well, it is best to leave it in the past. From what I read Diaryland started way before Facebook and Twitter (probably around the My Space Days) out of Toronto. Now if you type in Diaryland you get some insurance company.

    2. Back in the day, it was a teen story broken in about 4 characters. There was Parker who was best friends with Jules but he didn't end up with her nor even the girl he was smitten with. Of course, they all had their troubles. I guess I was inspired by Ann Martin's California diaries. Naturally, these were diaries of kids in the Heartland. I guess the funniest yet maybe terrible thing was a few readers were smitten by Parker and his POV. Yes, I'm sure I was very misleading when I shouldn't of been, and yet he just kept going.

    3. I just went over to look and yeah it looks like a members only site or something. Which makes sense if it's perponal stuff and not a general story site. But that story sounds fun! Always good when people get super invested in characters.
