High End Crush

 

This has to be my favorite K-drama of Jung Il Woo. It's from 2015 about the entertainment industry in Seoul. His arrogant character is the one calling all the shots. He's hard to work for. Even his starlet has run away from him. And the girl (Jin Se Yeon) on the street who saved her ends up doing her photo shoot. Somehow, he's met his match who is the simple girl from the farm who has a way of changing him. 

It's only 20 very short episodes, but it's packed with some great lines and scenes. Now on Viki.

I was surprised that he made a C-Drama with George Hu. Girls' Lie (2023). Now if I can just find a place to watch it. Hu is from New York but a Tawain favorite.
