The Boarding House -Fitz Jamison

"Oh, I've got my eye on her," Fitz couldn't help but shake with laughter. Of course, he wasn't sure if Kirby even heard him. Probably not. That dude was always keeping to himself and Fitz moved in next to him.

"What are you trying to say, man?" Kirby was listening. "Her?"

"What, you think it's that Mina chick? Are the piano lady?" Fitz leaned against the door of his room and smirked back at Kirby across the hall, who was keeping his place neat as an army barrack.

Fitz had hardly been in his space. He didn't think much of it. What he'd give to have a naked babe poster on the wall, but he'd been on the run. He'd gotten away with the money at the car wash back in McAllen. Oh, he was on the sly. His claim to fame was being a quarterback back in high school. It had been downhill ever since.

Yeah, he might have been a cheat back then, but nobody would ever know. Fitz knew he didn't look innocent enough, but no one had ever had a chance to pin anything on him. Now he was just killing time at the boarding house until he thought of his next big bang.

Meanwhile, Kirby gave him the stare-down.

"I'm gonna, get lucky with that Olivia. You know as in a Big O." He cackled at the thought. Yeah, he knew a cougar when he saw one and she needed him.

They'd met briefly. She was a little on the stern side, but he saw that smile of hers. She was coming on to him. She liked what she saw. Damn, he hadn't had any since...hmm..he slightly winced. Was it at that frat party a couple of months ago?

Well, it had been far too long in his book and he knew when someone needed a good time.

"Hold up, wait a minute," Kirby was at his doorway as if he might be Olivia's bodyguard. "Do you need your ass whipped?"

Fitz, sighed with that silly smile of his, hugging himself. "I'm into consensual, you know. She knows what it's all about."

"Miss Olivia means well."

Kirby was dead serious. He practically pushed his index finger into Fitz's forehead to knock some sense into him. "Don't you touch anyone, here?"

"Why?"

"You'll be sorry."

Kirby's voice was of authority.

"Why?"

"Mind your own, business, and leave Miss Olivia alone."

Kirby swelled a frown as if he meant business.

Fitz couldn't say, "No, can do Bro." But he wanted to. He slammed the door shut. He'd find a way to get what he wanted from Miss Olivia.
