Footloose - movie review

So how in the world could they do this? Remake such a classic? Kevin Bacon. Chris Penn. Who would even want to go to this MTV movie? Well, I did. And I'm so glad I did. Honestly, I felt this was a great re-make.

First of all, Kenny Warmald and Julieanne Hough do all their own dancing which is amazing. AND..they found the best Willard! Miles Teller, who almost stole the whole movie. OK, he did for me. He definitely is the real deal..even Nicole Kidman said so in a recent interview when she did a screen test with Tiller for Rabbit Hole.

The movie is in Texas. And Kenny's Wren is a definite outsider, attitude with a defining Boston accent. While Julieanne Hough certainly sassed it up in this role as the preacher's daughter. Dennis Quaid certain gave the film a sentimental side, as well, as the preacher in the community who only wanted to protect the children.

There is a scene in the beginning that is definitely one of sorrow. The movie certainly had it depth as to what had happened in the community. Also the movie shows the broadside of influences of music and dance from hip-hop to country line dancing.

Truly, its a movie you can enjoy with family and friends. Its been updated and some amazing footwork. You just might want to go dancing after you see this film.

storyline: City kid Ren MacCormack moves to a small town where rock 'n' roll and dancing have been banned, and his rebellious spirit shakes up the populace.

guess I'll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog.

I too am an aspiring blog writer but I'm still new to the whole thing.
Do you have any tips and hints for novice blog writers?

    I'd genuinely appreciate it.
