Thomas Dekker

"Adam Conant" has to be Thomas Dekker's best role yet. He is a part of THE SECRET CIRCLE. Of course, no one has referred to Adam as a warlock, as of yet. Perhaps just a beginner. But Dekker amazingly conveys his character's connection to "Cassie" played by Britt Robertson.  Of course, "Adam" has a girlfriend, played by Shelley Hennig "Diane", the most practical witch of the bunch, who was Teen Miss USA in 2004. Of course, "Adam" remains loyal to "Diane"... but how long will that last? And if "Cassie" and "Adam" get together, just what sort of magic will they make?

He was Smith in Ka-Boom.

His John Connor days which I didn't much care for. Since his character's teen angst didn't go anywhere.

Thomas Dekker was born in Las Vegas back in 1987. He started acting at the age of six on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, a great place to hone in on the craft of acting. You might remember him more recently in the Sarah Connor Chronicals as John Connor. And most recently he was in KA-BOOM, a Gregg Akari film.

He just finished up MY ELEVENTH, a film starring John Benjamin Hickey. Dekker just wrapped up FOREVERLAND with Juliette Lewis. Its about a young man with cystic fibrosis, along with the sister of a fallen friend, goes in search of a legendary healing shrine in Mexico.

Thomas is in pre-production of the film, ROSE BY NAME.

Some think he's a little old to be playing a teenager, but I'm glad he got the role of  "Adam" on Secret Circle. He does make the show worth watching.
