Fran Kranz went to high school with Jake Gyllenhaal. He was also in Donnie Darko, too. In college, Fran was a member of Suite 13 Sketch Comedy, and of the Exit Players improv comedy troupe.
You might remember him as Topher Brink in Dollhouse. He's also in Joss Wedon's latest film, CABIN IN THE WOODS.
Fran has this slacker quality about him. In fact, in the movie Matchstick Men he was the "slacker boyfriend." There is something about him that's is just a bit of a geek. And if you love that kind of guy..then you are sure to want to see Fran in just about anything.
