Todd and the Book of Pure Evil

A stoner metalhead named Todd Smith, his crushee Jenny, his best friend Curtis, and the geeky Hannah, search their high school for a mayhem-causing Satanic spell book, while being opposed by Atticus, the evil guidance councelor.

Originally it was shown on a Comedy Canadian channel and heavily edited (or so I've heard)...but it did find life afterwards on Netflix.

Of course, some might find Alex House who stars as "Todd" a dummer brother of Darren Criss with the sleepy eyes of Josh Peck. Even so, he's quite talented, stoner stance included, in this musical comedy.

Maggie Castle (Jenny), Melanie Leishman (Hannah), Bill Turnbill (Curtis), Alex House (Todd)

Perhaps, it was a show ahead of its time. Books like John Dies at the End and The Haunted Vagina have created a new misfit kind of genre that many are turning to with new cult classic followings. This is that sort of TV show where just about anything goes. What's better than Heavy Metal and Supernatural together?

Oh..and there is nothing better than having Jason Mewes as your very cool janitor at the high school!
