The Lone Ranger

Oh..have you been missing Johnny Depp? Maybe its a western you've been looking for? Either way, you are in for a treat. Honestly, Depp's Tonto has a lot of depth. We see the Lone Ranger's story from Tonto's perspective..and well..its about time to get a slice of Americana through the eyes of a Native American.

Nothing like having a horse upstage you in a movie. But Silver did save the day a few times during the movie.

True critics were hard on this film, but never mind them. You've got great villains, sweet damsels in distress..and Armie Hammer being more than Prince Charming.
Harry's dating Natasha Khan.

Who was the big surprise for me in this film? Harry Treadaway playing Frank. First of all, he's in the bad guy's gang and he is so unrecognizable with those blond curls, but he could oh so deliver a line.

One might think Helen Bonham Carter might be Johnny Depps' work wife by now. There they are in a film that Tim Burton did not direct.
Definitely a movie that's epic and quite a tale told. It was great seeing Johnny in a western.

STORYLINE: Native American warrior Tonto recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid, a man of the law, into a legend of justice.

  2. This looks like a good film with a solid cast. I would say that I think Depp's costume has certainly been slightly inspired by Jack Sparrow!

  4. It made me think of Little Big Man..how it starts out..Tonto being a..very old Native American..in some aspects it felt as if it has a lot of history to it. And of course, there is the last 30 minutes of action packed mayhem.
