Eli never had a happy childhood. He moved around a lot and his mother left him with a Dad who only wanted him to strive for good grades. Eli had trouble learning and was never accepted by his Dad. In fact, he never felt accepted by anyone. Except his best friend Jake, who he met in middle school. Needless to say, Eli might have loved his cool and confident friend, but he never admitted it. Then one day, while they were out playing basketball, some men came and abducted his best friend. Of course, there were questions as to why Eli didn't know more. He just couldn't remember much. Other than the black suits they wore. If only he could remember. Eli regressed back to his shy self. He did the bare minimal in school. He talked to no one. It was as if he didn't exist. The only person who really knew him was gone. And Eli did his best to not to rely on anyone. After all, he was just someone who now worked in the mailroom at his father's company. From anyone's point of view he was definitely not normal. Especially, with his awkward smiles and clumsy self.
