Kaori & Ellie prt.24

"What are you gonna do?" Nico asked Yugi, while they both held Tan's hand, Yugi on one side, Nico on the other.

"Wait." Nico's smile was endearing. Nico felt Yugi had a heart of gold. Actually, Yugi deserved better than Micky or Milo.

"Those two should stay together and you and Tan, find your own place." Nico made it sound so easy. He knew it wasn't. He knew Yugi walked his son home from pre-school, everyday.

"Micky will come around." Yugi nodded.

Nico sighed, thinking Micky should be here instead of him. Although, he didn't really care if people thought he was Yugi's boyfriend or not. It was nice to be out and about. As it was, Ellie didn't want to go anywhere, lately. Maybe she didn't want to be seen with him.

"What's wrong with Ellie, anyway?" Yugi noted he hadn't seen much of her, helping him out at the Ramen Shop.

"She hasn't been feeling well." Nico shrugged, figuring it was all not completely true, but she did sleep a lot.

"And she hasn't seen a doctor?" Yugi made it sound so suspicious, or why wasn't Nico doing anything about it.

Nico shrugged, as he looked at the shark over head. Tan pointed and smiled, but he took back Nico's hand as if it were comfort.

"You could at least go to pharmacy." Yugi looked at Nico as if he had an idea what was going on. "Get a pregnancy test."

Nico's eyes lit.

"Tan's Mom hibernated a lot before she had Tan." Yugi told him.

Nico looked at him blankly, trying to imagine Yugi during that time. He didn't think Ellie would want him hoovering around her, but maybe he did need to stop by the pharmacy.
