Big Dragon

Yai and Mangkorn are romantic rivals. One night, at Yai's newly inherited pub, the two drink together. Yai has nefarious plans for the evening, but they backfire, and he and Mangkorn end up spending a wild night together. Taunted by Mangkorn, who has footage of their hookup the next day, Yai takes his anger out on the pub. He hopes to forget what transpired between them and sink himself into pub renovations, but when he meets with the design team, he's surprised to see fifth-year architecture student Mangkorn among them.

 

OK, guess I'll finish the week with yet another BL drama. This one is from Thailand(2022). Although, many of these dramas are rather elementary and go nowhere, which might even be the case of this 8 episode drama. Many of the stories are so light (and of course, many will say..who cares?) And at times, one is thinking..oh they should have cared more about that script! (Yes, I wonder who is doing the writing for these shows. It certainly isn't Chinese author Priest who makes amazing bromances). While some stories work (depending a lot on the actors and what they can convey) Yet a lot of times, you may wonder why am I watching this?

Yes, Big Dragon has its qualms. It could be better. And it's only 8 episodes with the future of a second season. But hey, it's got 2 up and coming actors who hopefully learned something by making this drama. Maybe. Until then..fanfiction could possibly be better.
