Oh, you know it's Fall when we all start getting foolish. It might be a new beginning, an ending or just falling for something new. Of course, it has to keep us on our toes at the library.
Recently, we had some preteen pirates take over the library for about fifteen minutes. Hopefully, we scared them away by approaching them with our library questions. But they persisted with snide remarks, "Don't call me young man!" "You have no cameras here!" But we do. And it was recorded how they went through the stacks shoving books on the floor.
It was quite a dance, Zig-zagging in and out of the library. Two girls and a boy (supposedly the instigator in the matter). It's trouble when a teenager comes to the desk and asks to get those kids out of here.
Thankfully, after a good talking to, they didn't come back.
Here's to a fabulous weekend! I'll be at the library. Our booksale is starting tomorrow.
What an awful experience
ReplyDeleteI hope your weekend goes well. That's ridiculous pushing books down like that. When I saw you mention pirates I was hoping some kid were dreesed up to have fun.
ReplyDeleteMaia I think will be getting explores more. I want to get more into her personalty since I don't think she has given the attention on some of the Hillier & Joon are interesting to me too becase only he sees a certain side of her... or is he just playing her?
Isn't it funny how we look back and certain crushes? And ooh some of that was autobiographical? :) Dance were the best. :)
The zoo sounds fun! I love a good aquarium. And I hope the book sell goes well. Will the library be very busy you think?
DeleteSiempre es genial cuando es viernes. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteEs viernes y es genial lo que se puede hacer. Te mando un beso.

ReplyDeleteOh, those preteen pirates! It sounds like they're bound for juvie - or the plank -- if they don't get their act together. I love that the library really has cameras -- so much for them calling your "bluff"! ๐ฎ๐คจ๐ฃ
ReplyDeleteOn another library note, I hope that your book sale more than makes up for this mayhem. ๐๐๐๐ฒ
