Wade & Ren

 

Ren still awake lies beside Wade. She's barely alert but can understand how uncomfortable her body is cramped against wall. Wade is fully asleep so here's Ren's chance. No it's not like Wade is causing harm but she genuinely wants her own space. Something simple at most like spreading out without restriction She maneuvers her body little by little until she is free, hoping not to cause a commotion. Standing up is not the easiest however. She's dragging her exhausted body in the still of the night to the couch where she throws herself down onto. "What is worse?" Ren askes herself in brain. "Sleeping on the couch or going back to her aunts?" Either way she wouldn't know how to get out of the stark forest. No she'd be lost. Turns out she's to stay put Eyelids heavy and her body finding a relaxed position follows. Soon she can barely see the stars from the small window above as she drifts off Daylight makes its entrance blaringly bright. Like no alarm is needed. Wade forgets Ren stayed over. He puts comfortable clothes on, simple tank and sweatpants. Checking watch, he realises time. "Oh shit" He walks to kitchen humming Miley Cyrus tune. Getting something to eat, Wade notices Ren on couch. Her petite body is rolled into a ball, like fetal pose. Her being asleep Wade does not want to disturb so he continues without a care grabbing beverage Wade's mind is blown into fantasy mode. It's almost like if the two were married and this is their house deep within the woods. A retreat of sorts. Not a thing to bother them in their paradise. But as soon as he thinks, his thoughts escape him as sweet Ren starts to awaken He sees her yawn and her head move side to side. She seems unfamiliar where she is. That's when Wade approaches and stands near edge of couch. "It's ok" he comforts kneeling down next to her shoulder. "Guess what?" He puts her hand in his, the other hand moving her hair away from forehead. Ren has small tears stream out running on her rosy cheeks "It's passed time for work today" Wade lets out laugh "We slept in thanks to the whisky" Ren tries to get up but struggles due to her head hurting so bad from hangover. This causes her to put it back down again. After all headaches can be prominent for 1st time drinkers. "Don't worry, I got you" Wade slips his arms under Ren's shoulders and knees "You can take the bed." Setting her down and putting blanket over her, he goes and grabs some medicine. Aspirin to be exact. "This might help a little" Wade watches Ren sip water "It's important to keep hydrated" and continues to watch her from sitting at end of bed "Do you think we're fired?" Ren squeaks "Who knows?" Wade folds his arms over torso then scratches elbow "Not like I care much anyhow because yesterday's excursion" "We still have our stuff there you know. I hope nobody's touched any of it" "If anything I can go down and grab it" Wade suggests "You on the other hand need to take it easy" "What do you mean? I slept well the 1st time in ages. I have all this energy!!" Ren smiles then touches forehead "Oh yea you're right forgot about the headache"
