Better Late than never...

'Kleypas can make you laugh and cry - on the same page' Julia Quinn. Book 5 of the Wallflowers series. Yes, it can be an awakening in a historical sense for most. And some of us just laugh as if it's the thrill of the read!

Rafe Bowman has just arrived from America for his arranged meeting with Natalie, the very proper and beautiful daughter of Lady and Lord Blandford. His chiselled good looks and imposing physique are sure to impress the lady-in-waiting, and if it weren't for his shocking American ways and wild reputation, her hand would already be guaranteed. Before the courtship can begin, Rafe realizes he must learn the rules of London society. But when four former Wallflowers try their hand at matchmaking, no one knows what will happen . . .

Begins under the mistletoe . . .

Winning a bride turns out to be more complicated than Rafe Bowman anticipated, especially for a man accustomed to getting anything he wants. However, Christmas works in the most unexpected ways, changing a cynic to a romantic . . . and inspiring

Oh, those HOLDs at the library. They never come in on time. But finally, I got a hold of A WALLFLOWER CHRISTMAS. Oh, the amusing start about a RAKE. That'll get you going of those old Victorian times! Let's just say it's more than Christmas. Every good Victorian guy is out looking for a rich one..even an American. So it was some fun. Although, I will admit I don't really read this genre, but this author is the best of the best.

  3. Sounds fun. I haven't read a historical romance in a really long time. I like that the rake's name is Rafe, and the Christmas-colored dresses are lovely.
