Koda & Vanna

Do you think it'll work out with you two?

KODA: I am not going to answer that. Just take one day at a time (he shrugs with a smile). VANNA: Just when I think I have him trained (She gives him the once over and hugs herself) I find out how weird his friends are. (she shrugs) KODA: They are not weird. (He cracks up) You might be the weird one. You're just moody when you don't get your own way. (He sighs and she gives him a nudge with a pout) Of course, we'll stay together. Who else would want us?

  2. Interesting! Seems like a case of misery -- or, rather, weirdness -- loves company. Although I agree with Koda that Vanna might be the weird one. But to paraphrase Sheryl Crow, if she makes him happy, then she can't be that bad. At least for now . . .

Thanks so much for all your lovely comments. I think you're on to something when you say that aging is harder on men (I'm assuming) psychologically. Look at the whole midlife crisis thing. Thanks for sharing the story about your dad. That's sad that he wouldn't talk to anyone on his fortieth or eat your mom's German chocolate cake. But then again, we all deal with stuff in our time and way. :)
