I've been a fan of Seo Kang Joon for ages. He's quite the performer and just gets better and better in every K-drama (for the most part). Such fun characters he's created from rom-com to crime stories. He's 28 and is in the boyband 5urprise, as well. Honestly, you never know what he might take on in a drama, even being a robot. Yeah, he's the kind of actor who can pull that off.
Recently, I found Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kenaro in ONLY JUST MARRIED. He is a model turned actor and 30. And has actually done lots of Japanese dramas. Of course, I kept thinking..that couldn't be Seo Kang Joon. Actually, they do have a few of the same mannerisms, too. Oh, and of course, I adore them both in glasses.
I can't say who I like best. These two do bring it to a drama. But wouldn't it be fun to see them in a drama together? OK, I guess I'll come up with my own fan fiction...until then.
P.S What I have noticed in the drama world is K-dramas do like to style their guys (especially the hair) while Japanese it's all natural..unless you are in a boyband.
Great post :P
ReplyDeleteInteresting about the hair.
ReplyDeleteUy que guapo, te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteInteresting! My mom always says that there are only so many faces in the world, and that people fall into categories looks-wise. I totally see what you mean about the "styled" style of K-drama's Seo Kang Joon vs. the natural look of Japanese film's Sakaguchi Kenaro. I never knew about this cultural distinction!
ReplyDeleteAlso, it's cool that you scored that sweater at Goodwill. There's nothing quite like the thrill of the hunt! :)
Different hair style for the different stories? Or different characters have different hair styles (like finger prints)?
