Mendez is postponing his concert here. Probably best to be safe than sorry. We seem to have a rise in COVID cases in our state too. But I am sure we will be happy whenever he does come to the Heartland.
It's not easy being an entertainer these days. Especially, on the road. Let's remember gas is still expensive even if it went down. And with a summer of gun violence that would put me in STAY HOME MODE.

I just think she'll figure out..she'll be happy without me. (He's straight-lipped but he looks a little sad)

CADE: What are you talking about? She's my brother's girlfriend's grandmother. She's..you know, like family. (he shrugs) Really, I like having her around cause I need her perspective on a lot of things. I mean, I feel I'm pretty level-headed. Except the world isn't these days.
DORIS: Oh, he's a sweet boy. He does my nails. I've never had a professional manicure. I mean, I'm pretty cheap ..if you want to know. After all, I find most of my stuff at Dollar General and I can't pass up the Dollar Tree. Oh, I know he needs someone to listen to. After all, those girls might maul him, he's just irresistible, you know. But when they start hurting someone....like him (she shakes her head) If he needs a place to chill, then he can count on me.
What a heartfelt post from Shawn! Celebrities are people too, and I applaud him for taking a step back to take care of himself.
That looks like an incredible dessert. Speaking of which, I agree that microwave smores are amazing! Last year I was on a kick of making them all the time.
Jade is so vulnerable in this interview! I love seeing that side of her. Then there's tough-guy Tristan who "keeps his nose at an angle that no one can see just how big it really is." Ha ha. Still, you let us know he's fooling no one with that sad look at the end. We shall see . . .
