I'm always on the lookout for a good milk tea. Although, in general, I just reach for my earl grey, make it pretty strong by giving it a good brew for a good five minutes. Add a little sugar and of course, just a little more than a splash of half and half and I'm good to go. Although, I don't have this every day. Maybe on Saturday once a month.
I have made this cream before just to see the science of it because I couldn't think putting these ingredients together could create such a luscious cream. Although, you have to mix and mix. Don't give up. Usually, I use decaff instant coffee. I have only made it once. I have actually only tried it with yogurt and it does make a really amazing treat. I usually don't have milk in the house.
OK, I have watched many K-dramas where they drink lots of instant coffee. Usually, it's in little paper cups. Maximum Gold seems to be the favorite. However, I was in ROSS one day and came across the Nescafe Mocha (with lots of Korean written on it). Of course, I grabbed it. Although, one of those packets is just for half a cup of coffee. You may think you are getting a lot for your money when you pick up this big box. But it'll at least take two packets for a coffee cup..and for some of us..that might mean 3. Yet, I will admit..I don't get the big deal about it. I'd much rather have a flat white if I'm going to go out for coffee. I don't use sugar in my coffee.
It looks delicious and it doesn't even seem difficult to make.
