| Seriously, I'm not one for selfies, but I wanted to show off the new scarf I finished. |
It's funny how mild it is again. Just a week or so ago, oh..it felt like the dead of winter and January was just going to Alaska. Of course, it still might happen. January is usually cold here. Thankfully, we have had some moisture which we dearly needed. Of course, with all the cold weather all I've wanted to do is crochet..scarves.
Just now I saw someone at the grocery store who recognized me. I realized I had promised his wife a crocheted hat.. on a happy note I won't have to worry about making up hours. I do work this coming weekend.
On a sad note, we now have two people who have had to move on at work. I hope they have a great new year with their careers. I will miss them.
Hope your January is off to a good start. Just chilling here and of course, thinking up stories and of course, always happy to find a good drama or two.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful scarf! Every stitch is perfect; I can't imagine how long that took you! It's no wonder that people are seeking you out in the grocery store to score their handmade hats, LOL. And I love seeing your green hair too; it sets the scarf off perfectly! That's a shame about losing your coworkers to other jobs; I know how much the library means to you. I'm glad you don't have to worry about making up hours, though.
