Oh, to be an actress in the 80's

 

Big hair, big guns, big personalities, and a serious lack of wardrobe. She-Wolves of the Wasteland, a post-apocalyptic story that features women--lots and lots of women--who leave little to the imagination as they battle each other in various junkyards and gravel pits to determine the fate of the entire world.

It's a sad story about Kathleen Kinmont. She starred in Phoenix The Warrior(1988) or best known as She Wolves of the Wasteland. She only got paid 50 bucks a day. She was told it would be a movie shown in Europe. Unfortunately, she didn't make a dime (It was a non-union film). 50 bucks barely covered gas money to go to the desert to make this film. She almost lost her membership in the Screen Actor's Guild. However, later she was in a Star Trek movie. She also starred in Renegade(1992) with her ex Lorenzo Lamas.

Still, the Phoenix Warrior film is so bad that you might enjoy laughing at it. Thankfully, she has become a writer and a director since then and occasionally shows up in horror films.
