I never knew that John Wayne made a movie with Janet Leigh in 1957. It's got it all! Russian defector with a from Russia with love scenario. The tables get turned. Who will win? And these two get married no less. Back when men were ever so manly. And actresses didn't have to say much either. It was a Howard Hughes film featuring his aircraft. Although, by the time the movie aired his airplanes were obsolete. In the credits, it featured the United States Airforce.
Air Force Colonel Shannon is assigned to escort defecting Soviet pilot Anna. He falls in love with her, but she is scheming to lure him back to the USSR. But Shannon has a scheme of his own.
