Really, it's not your run-of-the-mill C-drama romcom. You've got Ester Yu and Li Jia Qi (Nicky) as besties in this one! True Yu is on overload giddiness as an Influencer, but when she's not in makeup she's as girl fun at home as they come and when her best friend comes from her rural hometown to the city, things just get even better.
Of course, Yu's character has been trying to get this guy's attention way before he became a botanist. Naturally, he's as cold as they come and can only look for plants while she needs him for the company she works for. So Nicky's plan. "Just keep annoying him." And Yu does.
Oh, it's cuteness overload.!While Nicky's character knows how to kill it with kindness and that magical smile of hers does wonders for those around her. Yes, it isn't often that you find such a natural fondness like this, especially with girlfriends. Honestly, it's the best surprise of this C-Drama.

ReplyDeleteThe vodka/ lemonade thing was SO good. My daughter works at Statbucks and has this super tart lemonade stuff they use- I like drinking it straight- and I don't know what kind of vodka it was but it was so yummy.
