Twilight

 

This drama would probably not have worked if it wasn't for these two, Ren Jia Lun and Angelababy. Even if I put in the synopsis it wouldn't make sense. To put it simply. She's a psychologist. He's a screenwriter with multiple stories going on in his mind and of course, talks to himself, writes all hours of the night..and they just accidentally started sharing an apartment together. She wants to have her own practice since she's got a lot debt (even loan sharks following her). He sleeps in the daytime and snors her clients away. 

No there are no vampires in this Chinese drama. Although, they have plenty sucking the money out of these two. He has a brother who knows how to spend money and is never supportive of anything he writes. She could have a lover from the last company she was with, but she didn't want to be married into his money, and now he's trying to find ways to bring her back to his life.

Oh, that's just part of the story! And then there is his stories that come to life. Ren is so full of energy in this drama. Sometimes, he's goofy. He's fun to watch as he's talking to himself like one of the characters. In the side story, he plays those characters, the anti-hero of his stories and they are action-packed. And then suddenly, she's in the stories he's writing too. Which even shocks himself since he is such a loner at heart and really doesn't ask for much..other than finding a place to write on his laptop.

It is one of those dramas..you'll either understand it completely or you won't have any idea what's going on.
