Only 41, El has been in quite a few K-dramas as a guest. Naturally, she is such a genuine character of the wayward kind. I spotted her recently in one of her earlier works, Crime Squad. Of course, she didn't think to do the right thing. But then again, she has the face of a survivor. 

The first drama I remembered her in was IT'S OK, THAT'S LOVE. She played the ex who just couldn't say goodbye to him forever. Of course, in this drama, I thought she was much older than she actually was. She is a great supporting character.

In her most recent drama Battle for Happiness, she is perhaps the female lead. This is a story of women and status. Her character a single woman with a decent career in the financial district but somehow has to reacquaint herself with someone she went to school with. Actually, it's a WhoDunit Mystery. Truly, a story of status and how one keeps it. The circle of moms playing their children like chess pieces. But who really gets hurt in the process? Perhaps, they just have too much time on their hands. Battle for Happiness is now on VIKI.
