Brrrrr... a good day for spaghetti and wine! What a weekend. I feel I am amid Cabin Fever! Wind chills just keep chilling. Believe me, I didn't move yesterday and probably not much today either. Yes, we are truly Frozen. And hubby is home. It was quite an ordeal trying to get him in the house with such a massive snow and wind chill on the driveway. Thankfully, he is more mobilized than I expected. Someone in the family picked him up, but then had to spend a good portion of the day waiting for the driveway to be cleared while I was trying to get everything ready. So yeah, it's been a lazy weekend. I should sleep more, but why would I do that?

I found this a few days ago in a closet I was cleaning out. It was the last think I expected to find. Actually, I redressed her and let down her hair since the elastic was coming apart. So I spent a good portion of the weekend googling this doll. Needless to say, I barely remember getting her. As I recall, I had seen this doll with a male doll at Dollar General. This was back in 2008 or 2007.
I was babysitting this little boy and when I came across the naturally curly-haired doll I thought he would like him (Sutton), and he did (although, I wish I'd kept it now since these dolls were so well made and male dolls with rooted hair). This (Up above) to my understanding is Chealsea from My Scene Barbie collection that started I guess back in 2002. There were some legal battles between My Scene and Bratz during this time, as well. Much of My Scene was sold in Europe and Mexico instead of the States. Funny, the girls were so glamorous while the male counterparts looked more like middle schoolers. |

Oh my gosh it's awful here. Wife tried to go to store and didn't even make it out of the driveway. Spaghetti and wine sounds great!
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting about MyScene and Bratz. My niece loves the LOL dolls now but I don't see the appeal as much, I still like the classic Barbies.
Lazy weekends are truly the best - especially when spent with good company!
