Dan is from a small town in the hill country. He never knew his bio dad but his step-dad adopted him when he was four. He met Wyona in high school while working as the bag boy at Piggly Wiggly but the longer he stayed there he knew how to do just about everything at the store. 

He'd always liked music, except country music. He grew up on April Wine, Rush and Nazareth. He didn't really get into guitar until he played the Guitar Hero game. As for Wyona, he was smitten with her, fascinated with her humor and fierceness, but he never felt he was quite good enough for her. She was the crush who became his friend.

At the moment, he's living the van life in California. He has been playing with a punk band in Northern California that he met online.

Likes: A good burger, a good vanilla shake which are the two things that keep him from going vegetarian, his momma, and her authentic Mexican food. He likes to cook. He knows all her recipes. He likes fixing electric guitars. He likes meeting people from different cultures. He likes hearing from Wyona every day. He likes living in his van for the most part except on windy days and during wildfires. 

Dislikes: He did not like Las Vegas. He isn't that crazy about L.A. Had to break a window out of the passenger side of his van one night because he locked himself out while camping in New Mexico and vows that will never happen again. He doesn't like being alone, either. But there are a lot of crowds he doesn't want to be a part of. Every night he wonders if he's going to ask Wyona if he can come home, but he hasn't done it yet.
