OC RP - Fiona & Ezra

"You're really driving me crazy!" Fiona shouted. Actually, to no one in her little place she called home. Honestly, she might have shaken the trailer with her outburst as she set up in her little space of memory foam love. Oh, she needed sleep, but damn if that Ezra didn't invade her dreams.

Naturally, it was something so mundane. Asking her if she'd ever accidentally put too much salt in her cookies. How did he know? That's why she never baked. It was just an accident, and she was only six then, making chocolate chip cookies for her grandpa. She never baked again!

She squeezed her eyes shut. It was just a dream. But she heard her trailer door open. And guess who it was? Ezra, of course, and he wasn't alone. That buddy of his, Han, was here too.

"What! What are you doing here?" She snapped, hardly noticing what a mess her hair was. She was just in her non sexy undies. She gave him the eye.

"I thought something happened," his sincere look always maddened her. "I heard you yelling..and..and well, we stopped by on our way to the food truck, thought you might want something to eat."

"Well.."

Her cheeks pouted, but her stomach awakened. Didn't he know she was trying to see how long she could go before taking a bite of food? She thought of herself as the indigenous sort on the prairie who only ate when food was available. Obviously, it was at the moment. She knew he'd pay. She didn't feel sorry about it either.

"Wait for me outside." She hugged her pillow, keeping him from spying on her bare body. I need to get dressed."

A few minutes later, she was wearing her cutoffs and summer top. She was just in her flip-flops. "Why are you taking a nap so late in the day?" He looked at her as if she were ill. "You might not sleep tonight."

"What of it?" She was perturbed with him as they walked to the entrance, where the food truck was still in action. A line was forming. It would be a while, and she hugged herself as if she had no intentions of conversing with him. After all, he had his buddy, who was speechless.

"I am afraid you just don't care anymore," Ezra said, looking away. It was as if he knew just how depressed she was about losing the library clerk job, even if that was well over a month ago.

She glared at him, giving him a big, fat lip of angst. "What are you talking about?"

"He thinks you're suicidal," Han shrugged as if he were some sort of encyclopedia on autopilot.

"You've been talking about me! To him?" Her eyes bulged as she was in a huff while they waited in line for Turkish delights in the form of lamb and beef on skewers.

"Shut up," Ezra whispered back to Han.

Fiona knew Ezra, who always wanted to create a scene and then not be a part of it. Han was perfect for him.

"Are you two a couple now?" She didn't really want to know. She knew it wasn't so, but it was her way of building a wall around herself that he couldn't penetrate, even if he tried.

"God," Ezra rolled his eyes at that. "What if we are?" He grinned as if he would play into her fantasy.

Now she rolled her eyes.

Finally, they ordered the food, and Ezra paid. Yes, secretly, she was happy that he dropped by.
