Happy St. Patty's Day!

Who's my favorite Irish actor at the moment? Well, Robert Sheehan, of course. He can be just as funny as he can serious. He is not ashamed to be in a play nor a cop drama, nor being silly with ...
Ben Barnes in indie movies like Killing Bono.
I never aspired to be in a band, but being onstage is a very cool feeling. It’s like you’re the lord of the room. It’s hard to croon and run around doing big scissor kicks while also trying to play, though. I’m still mastering that. -Robert Sheehan while working on Killing Bono.

From Me and Mrs. Jones.

And lets not forget about the Waterboys. OK, so they might not be a complete Irish band, yet some of them are from Ireland, and they have had a great influence on many musicians like Eddie Vedder and the lead singer of The Decemberists, as well as the lead singer from Feeder. They inspired bands like Simple Minds and Big Country too.

The band was formed by Michael Scott in 1983. They did use many Celtic folk sounds. Later Karl Wallinger left the band and started World Party, which is a band I grew up listening to. He worked with Sinead O'Connor, as well.

It just wouldn't be St. Paddy's day without something from this group at our place. Drink sensibly and try not to get sick on Corn Beef.
