Sia & Sergio

Sia & Sergio

Finally, it feels like spring. Its good to be out and about. Except, someone always has one thing on his mind.

Hopefully, we'll get rid of those winter briefs, but I dunno..he really likes his polar bear!

Still, we find time to enjoy each others company. In spite of work being hectic.

Its time for new spring shoes and picnics in the park with flowers in our hair.

Spring has come!

Sia & Sergio

Sia & Sergio

Oh...we need more romance.

We haven't gone anywhere since Christmas. Granted, we are still getting over that trip to the states. But it would be so nice to get to the beach. Heaven knows, no one would be there since the Winter Olympics are in full throttle.

But its the most romantic week of Winter? Valentines day on the way.

Who wants to clean out closets and go to the place where we can get toilet paper for a year... I would rather be dancing..maybe..

or just with Sergio.

Although, he does like watching all those winter sports on TV. What do you with a guy like that?

I guess I'm not the only one.

I could be working extra hours. But I don't want too. Guess, I need ME time..or maybe just Sergio time.

But what would we do? I'm afraid I would find him watching the tube and I would be finding a good read on my tablet.

Oh! Someone is ready for a Japanese Christmas! Or so that's what Sia calls it. She LOVES the cherry blossoms! & of course, always wants a picnic. Even a bike ride.

Of course, I don't think its nearly as romantic as she intends for it to be. Cause., this girl starts sneezing, and I end up having to get her allergy meds before the day is done. Then we spend the rest of the weekend at home..in front of the TV

Sia & Sergio

January is such a long month. I dunno why I'm thinking about all that snow in the mid-west. My cousin called to tell me it is melting. At least for this week.

It feels almost like spring here. Maybe. Still, some days..it feels great to have a sweater. Yet, there are some days I need my drinks from McDonald's.

Yes, some one does spoil me!

Not that he has told me anything about Valentines day plans yet. I don't think we would do anything big.

After all, it will be a night when most couples are out.

We will probably stay in. Hopefully, Sergio will grill steak.

Meanwhile, I might find that old gaming system of mine. See if it still works.

5 things about Sergio

Sergio - AOL

Five things about Sergio

1.Sia is his first American girlfriend, but most think she’s from some other country.
2.He rarely visits home anymore since his parents have moved to the country to retire.
3.He really would love to have a dog, but their place doesn’t allow pets and he’s pretty sure Sia wouldn’t want to put up with a dog.
4.He loves pizza. Most holidays he opts for pizza instead of any traditional food.
5.He loves all sorts of sports while Sia only likes running.

I like to think of myself at the quiet type. I'm not really confrontational..while Sia..oh..she might blow up about..anything.

Yeah, she has a bit of a temper, but its not bad. She's so nice at work, but she can come home and take it out on me. And she knows this, so she really tries not to be that way.

Still, I got to know her when the Japanese lessons..and it was rather cute..in the beginning. Still, I manage to get through these little issues. Cause, after all, I love her and I wouldn't want to be with anyone else.

I'm happy I got to come to the states with her. And to see where she's from and to meet her relatives.

Its really been a lot for my own parents to process. We only visit ever great once in while. I know they want to be accepting, but sometimes, I can see she gets on their nerves.

No way, is Sia the traditional kind of Japanese girl they were expecting me to bring home. But..I wouldn't want her any other way...

Oh..BTW..its me who who nicknamed her Sia.

p.s..She calls me Sugar from time to time...

missing home but hating the traveling - Sia

I'm so tired, just a little bit more..I keep reminding myself and we will be back where we belong in Tokyo.

Until then, restless legs, tired eyes and hoping we get home in one piece.

What can I say..I feel safer there.

Sia & Sergio

It’s been a really long time, since I’ve been home..just to feel like a stranger now in a foreign country. Really, I am thankful to bring my home with me. Sergio has been an anchor in my life. I know many can’t see it. They look at boy who’s thin and would rather have butterscotch over fudge.

It’s good to see that my cousin has found a family. I can’t imagine him being a dad. All this time I thought he was a confirmed bachelor. After all, he spent a good portion of his life in college play productions or community theater. If that wasn’t enough, his day job as a middle school teacher has kept him busy.

I’m thankful to be with Gordy and his family this Christmas. We are the last of my grandmother’s family. Still, it's good to see a new generation on the horizon.

Sia - Adventure of a Lifetime

Most think I'm older than Sergio. Yes, I've been accused of living with a 15 year old. Actually, Sergio is a year older than me. I'm 25 and he just had a birthday a few weeks ago. Its and issue we just accept it. Unfortunately, I have had guys flirt with me while they treat Sergio like my kid brother. He only smiles and puts his arm around me..because he knows who I'm leaving with..him.
